The New Jersey Nets are in a total freefall this season. If they are trying to demonstrate to LeBron James why he should consider them for his relocation next season, they have an interesting way of gong about it. Today they are about to announce a trade of Eduardo Najera back to Dallas (getting back Kris Humphries). This after cutting their 2009 1st round draft choice Sean Williams and waiving Rafer Alston earlier this week. Who is LeBron gong to inbound the ball to, himself? What is the benefit of coming to a "team" that isn't a team? Best he will have to show for a relocation is wearing a Brooklyn jersey in 3 years once the Barkley Arena is built. Hey LeBron, you can buy a jersey and put your name on the back at the NBA store. You won't win an NBA Championship during your time with the Nets, let alone make the playoffs in the first three years. Is that how you want to spend your prime years? Money here says Net's are out of the running. |
