Heat use Knicks for 1st Victory
Monday, 12 November 2007

Let the record show that on Nov.11 @ 8:23 pm the Miami Heat got their first win of the 2007 season.  Let's also note that if gameovernyc.com makes me watch another Knicks - Heat game I quit!  The NBA version of the JV league took the court last night a MSG.  I know it's early to be harsh on these teams,  I know both teams were missing key players, but give us a break.  Turnovers, missed shots, free throws that barely caught rim and a bad case of fumbleitist that affected both teams was the order of the evening.  The good news is that the Knicks (2-4) hit the road for a 4 game in 5 nights road trip and the Heat (1-6) just plain hit the road.  College basketball fills the Garden this week with the start of the Coaches against Cancer basketball tournament, sure to be an upgrade.  Game Over.

Celtics are the Truth!
Sunday, 11 November 2007

We knew Paul the "Truth" Pierce was just that, the truth but what about the new look 4-0 Celtics?  Saturday night was the night we were to see if Jason Kidd, Richard Jeffersonn and VC could handle the truth.  Well as we say in the streets "The ball don't lie", Perice, Allen and Garnett (The Boston Big Three) matched every big play the Nets made and then some.  While Rich Jeff did have the dunk of the night, Boston's steady super stars were just that steady.  Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are simply offensive specialists who can take what you give them and also what they want.  All you young ballers should study their games and bite!  Bite hard because you can see the hard work the three have put in at there profession.  That profession, "lighting yo ass up".   No need for the Nets to panic though, there young guns will only get better as the season moves on.  Game Over

Celtics in Rout
Thursday, 08 November 2007

Is it just us or should we all establish the fact that everyone else will be fighting for second place in the NBA East?  The Celtics routed the Nuggets last night 119 - 93.  And was that the lowly Hawks that beat up on the Suns?  The Clippers stay perfect with another win, this time at the expnese of the Pacers.

Suns destroy Bobcats
Wednesday, 07 November 2007

We know it's early, but do the Suns look like they are ready to unset the Spurs as Champions?  A balanced attack that saw eight Suns score in double figures beat up on the Bbocats, 115 - 83.  And is this a sign of things to come, the Knicks took care of Sports Illustrated's prize team, the Denver Nuggets with AI and Carmelo last night, 119 - 112.  That was Eddie Curry playing inspired down the stretch - how about seeing that all the time?  And cross-river rival Nets held their own with RJ going for 25 in a win over the Hawks.  Elsewhere, will someone plese put a APB out on the Bulls - will they ever win a game?  The Clippers took care of Chicago last night to stay undefeated.  Hey Bulls, maybe you should trade for Kobe (whose Laker's fall to 2-2 after losing to the Hornets)
